Paddle to explore the wonders of Grosse and Petite île au Marteau on a guided paddleboard tour (Stand Up Paddleboard).

  • On the schedule: Paddle from Havre-Saint-Pierre Beach to the islands by making your way around Grosse Île au Marteau (4.7 km), crossing to Petite île au Marteau (2 km) and accosting for a hike (2.2 km round trip) to the lighthouse, free time, snack break. Return to Havre-Saint-Pierre by boat with Services Maritime Boréale

Sea kayaking grande ile: 4 days and 3 nights in the mingan archipelago with a full service base camp

Zodiac boat shuttle, establishment of a fixed and comfortable camp, kayak trip, all meals included (with local products), hiking, kite flying, nature interpretation, free time and fellowship. The proposed activities depend on the weather and the opportunities offered by Mother Nature. Allow time to pause between sky and sea; a direct connection with what nature has most beautiful and magnificent to offer.

Do you speak beluga? Starting June 15 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), listen to the beluga whale’s sound universe while watching them from the terrace at Pointe-Noire Interpretation and Observation Centre. The guide will make you hear sounds recorded in the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park.

Are there sharks in the St. Lawrence River? Are sharks naughty predators? A brand new activity on this theme will be presented 3 times a week starting June 17, 2019 at the Marine Environment Discovery Centre.

Les Ecoumins Marine Festival

Les Escoumins marine festival will be held on the weekend of August 31 and Sept. 1 in the heart of the village of Les Escoumins and at the Marine Environment Discovery Centre. Try your luck at the photo contest, underwater treasure hunt and participate in family activities.

Nordic snorkeling, dive with the Polar Sea stars

The cold waters of the St. Lawrence are rich in underwater life. To see what’s beneath the surface, take the challenge of Nordic snorkelling with mask, snorkel and wetsuit. The $42 package includes equipment and admission to the Marine Environment Discovery Centre.
