Zootherapy in the forest

A walk in nature is always pleasant, but if you add animals to the mix, it can be amazing. The Asinerie L’Âne Gardien in the Lanaudière region offers forest walks with donkeys! You even have the chance to brush and feed them. A great experience for the whole family.

Getting lost in a lavender field

If you want to travel to the south of France for a few hours, why not visit the lavender farm of Bleu Lavande in the Eastern Townships. The site opened on May 11th and is ready to welcome you for a new season. If you really want to relax, Bleu Lavande also offers massages in nature!

Say hello to the penguins

Less than 35 minutes from Quebec City and less than 4 hours from Montreal, you can visit little penguins in their natural habitat by boat! For a little more than a month (May 11 to June 23), these penguins gather on the islets of the archipelago of Isle-aux-Grues. Click here for all the information!

Tulip picking

Spring rhymes with flowers! Just 30 minutes from Montreal, you’ll find U-pick Tulips, a huge tulip field where you can pick your own bouquet. There are 500,000 multicolored tulips so you’ll be spoiled for choice.

Relax at the Roger Van den Hende Botanical Garden

Although it is in the heart of Quebec City, you will feel elsewhere at the Roger Van den Hende Botanical Garden. Take a moment to read, snack or just admire the flowers and other plants. Managed by Université Laval, the garden is currently organizing workshops, like how to grow peonies. Not to be missed if you are passionate about floriculture.
